God’s Blessing Brings Wealth

My dear friend, today we are meditating on this beautiful promise from Proverbs 10:22. It says, “The blessing of the Lord brings wealth without painful toil for it.” Are you finding yourself saying, “I’m working so hard, but I’m not able to gather wealth for myself… I’m struggling to keep my job… I’m not seeing profit in my business… I’m putting in so many hours, spending less time with my family, and despite all this effort—I’m not seeing any results”?

Then, my friend, take heart. Today, God will bless you. He will bless the work of your hands. He will give you the wealth that you need. And you will feel light and easy. You will work under the guidance of the Lord, feeling calm and peaceful. In life, wealth means something different to each one of us. To working people or those with businesses, wealth may mean gathering money or building riches. To the elderly, wealth may be health. To young people, wealth may be their freedom.

When we look into the Bible, we see that the Israelite people saw wealth as simply getting food to eat. In Exodus 16, they were grumbling in the desert with no food. But the Lord, in His mercy, miraculously provided food from the heavens. It was so delicious, unlike anything they had ever tasted. They had food for every meal of the day. Since they didn’t know what it was, and because it was miraculous, they called it manna.

My friend, notice that they didn’t have to work tirelessly to get their food or their wealth. God had made a covenant with them to always be with them and provide for them. As they followed Him, they received heavenly manna, day after day. For 40 years, during their journey through the wilderness, they lacked nothing. God constantly provided. In the same way, God is blessing you. Whatever you do, it will be blessed. As you obey the Lord, as you follow Him, God will give you His wealth. He will give you the right amount of money to sustain your life, good health in your body and open doors in your life. And, my friend, you won’t have to toil for it. Just follow the Lord, listen to His voice, and do His will. And you will walk easily into every open door. So be of good cheer, my friend. God will bless you and fill you with His wealth. Always be filled with His love. Always be filled with His Spirit. And walk closely with Him. That’s all you need to do. Would you ask the Lord today, “Lord, fulfill this promise in my life”?

PRAYER: 
Loving Lord, thank You for Your wonderful promise in Proverbs 10:22. Even now, bless the work of my hands, Lord, and guide my steps. Take away the burden of fruitless toil from my life. Provide for me, Lord, just as You gave manna to Your people. Let Your peace and calm lead me in every decision. Open doors that no man can shut and bless me with Your kind of wealth. Fill me with Your Spirit, Your love, and Your presence each day. Let my life overflow with Your blessings, that I can glorify You always. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
